I’ve previously been caught in situations where finance was left out of the loop while operations were driving a requirement and we spent months assessing and planning for it – only to find after all that effort that the company could not afford to move ahead when the plan finally reached the finance people!

A lot of time and effort can be saved by ensuring each part of the business is involved at an early stage. We’ve also found that better solutions and decisions are made with all departments represented early on.

IT doesn’t miracilously make businesses succeed – it helps take the owner’s vision and makes it effective and efficient. IT supports business, not the other way around!
